Job Description

This is a full-time role for a Finance Manager based on-site in Kuala Lumpur. The Finance Manager will be responsible for:

• Preparation of monthly group consolidation accounts.
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Coordination of periodic financial performance review of the Company and Group.
• Ensuring compliance with all accounting and financial reporting standards (MFRS), Bursa, Securities Commission and relevant Statutory bodies' rules and regulations, including income tax, sales and services tax, legislative requirements and group policies.
• Liaison with auditors, tax agents and other statutory authorities to ensure all requirements are complied with.
• Coordination of yearly audit with external auditors.
• Coordination of preparation and monitoring of Group annual budgets, including annual budget of operating subsidiaries.
• Liaison with external auditors, tax agents and company secretary regarding audit, tax and statutory requirements.
• Any other ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned by the management when required.

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Degree/Professional qualification in accounting or Professional qualification in MIA, CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
• Candidates with working experience in a relevant position in a public listed company and audit working experience are preferred.
• Well-versed in MFRS, regulatory and listing requirements.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills, resourceful, and able to work independently with minimum supervision, and able to multitask.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, in particular Excel, and ability to use Autocount and MYOB Accounting software.
• Must be able to meet corporate reporting deadlines.
