Job Description

The Product Data Management Specialist will support DKSH Business Unit Technology, Digital Business Team by assisting in the process of creating product data in our Product Information Management system which the products are used in multiple platforms and websites. The primary focus will be on gathering and enter product data into our product management system; working with our country teams and outside vendors on product data generation and enrichment; partner with our internal functions such as IT team, SAP team, and local countries to ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency across systems.

 

  • Perform all data entry and pricing related tasks including managing and maintaining product information, including attributes, descriptions, images, specifications, pricing, and documentation across global systems such as PIM, Salesforce, ServiceMax, SAP etc.

  • Supporting local markets PIM champion, ensuring product data is complete, accurate, and standardized across all platforms and regions.

  • Work closely with the central business development teams to gather, structure, and implement product data for new and existing products.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for external vendors regarding product data enrichment requirements.

  • Collaborate with external partners to ensure accurate and timely submission of product information, ensuring consistency and adherence to company standards for all product data enrichment initiatives.

  • Support the continuous improvement and optimization of the PIM Backoffice system to meet evolving business needs as assigned, including gather user requirements, performing UAT, conducting weekly check-in calls, conducting training etc.

  • Troubleshoot any issues related to the PIM Backoffice system and work with IT team to resolve technical problems reported by business users in timely manner.

  • Develop and implement data quality improvement processes and best practices, maintain documentation related to product data processes, standards, and workflows, which includes and not limited to PIM product data and pricing.

  • Managing data creation and lifecycle maintenance for products as well as data syndication of products to multiple eCommerce marketplaces and other internal systems

  • Proactively troubleshoot and correct website issues, including price, category, image, description.

  • Support all ad-hoc projects and tasks assigned by manager.

 

Work Experiences

 

  • 2+ years’ experience in a Product Data, Digital Business Specialist, or Product Content Specialist role or equivalent combination of education and/or experience, highly preferred

  • Prior experience with product information management (PIM) system & processes, such as Magento, Salsify, Hybris or similar system, data integrity, and project management & documentation, required.

 

 

Skills

 

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills – functions and formulas, including custom filtering, conditional formatting, data validation, power query is preferable.

  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and necessary order management/ data management tools (eg: PowerBI, SQL, CRM, SAP).

  • Experience working with diverse teams, including central business development teams, clients, and vendors, in a global environment will be an added advantage.

  • Proven project ownership and ability to set a plan of action and execute quickly, accurately, and effectively with minimal supervision.

  • Initiative (self-motivated to develop processes, proactively problem solve, and see projects through completion)

  • Effective at multi-tasking and prioritizing a high volume of projects and tasks at one time; able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.

  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in the related field.
