A Senior Accounting Manager for a group of companies with strong business acumen is a leadership role requiring expertise in accounting, finance, and business operations. This individual would lead the finance team, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, while also contributing to the strategic direction of the company.&nbsp;
Key Responsibilities:

<li>Leading the Finance Department:</li>

This includes managing a team of accountants, overseeing financial reporting, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data.&nbsp;

<li>Financial Planning and Analysis:</li>

Developing and implementing financial strategies, forecasting, budgeting, and analysing financial performance.&nbsp;

<li>Compliance and Reporting:</li>

Ensuring compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IAS, IFRS, MAS), tax regulations, and other relevant legal requirements.&nbsp;

<li>Intercompany Transactions:</li>
</ul>
Managing complex intercompany transactions and ensuring accurate consolidation.&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>Working with Business Units:</li>
</ul>
Collaborating with other departments to understand their financial needs and provide support.&nbsp;

<li>Business Acumen:</li>
</ul>
Applying a business-oriented perspective to accounting and finance decisions, understanding the broader business context and how it impacts financial performance.&nbsp;
