A. Process Design &amp; Engineering (40%)
<ul>
<li>Lead Process Design: Develop and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping &amp; Instrumentation Diagrams (P&amp;IDs), and equipment datasheets for both new projects and facility modifications.</li>
<li>Perform Process Simulations: Use software like Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or similar to simulate processes, validate designs, and troubleshoot operational issues.</li>
<li>Lead Hazard Studies: Facilitate and participate in Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOP), Hazard Identification (HAZID), and Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA).</li>
<li>Sizing and Specification: Perform hydraulic calculations, line sizing, control valve sizing, and pressure drop calculations for in-plant pipelines and relief systems (PSV sizing).</li>
</ul>
B. Production &amp; Operational Support (30%)
<ul>
<li>Troubleshooting: Provide expert-level technical support to resolve complex process-related issues and production bottlenecks, minimizing downtime.</li>
<li>Debottlenecking &amp; Optimization: Identify opportunities for process debottlenecking, yield improvement, energy efficiency, and capacity enhancement.</li>
<li>Management of Change (MOC): Lead the technical review and implementation of Management of Change for process modifications.</li>
<li>Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Develop and review SOPs to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.</li>
</ul>
C. Safety, Compliance &amp; Documentation (20%)
<ul>
<li>Ensure Compliance: Ensure all process designs and operations comply with company safety standards and Malaysian regulations (e.g., DOSH, DOE, PETRONAS PTS standards where applicable).</li>
<li>Safety System: Review and update the plant's Safety Instrumented Functions (SIF) and Safety Integrity Level (SIL).</li>
<li>Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including process design basis, operating manuals, updating P&amp;ID and PFD and commissioning procedures.</li>
</ul>
D. Leadership &amp; Mentorship (10%)
<ul>
<li>Project Management: Lead or coordinate small to medium-scale process improvement projects from conception to commissioning.</li>
<li>Mentor Junior Engineers: Provide guidance, training, and technical oversight to graduate and junior process engineers.</li>
<li>Any other duties assigned by the management from time to time.</li>
</ul>
