The Role

As a Business Development Executive, you will support the BD team in identifying, engaging, and managing strategic partnerships across Web3, fintech, payments, forex, liquidity providers, stablecoin issuers, exchanges, and enterprise clients.

You will assist in executing the full BD lifecycle—from research and outreach to deal support and pipeline management—while learning to handle increasingly complex partnerships independently.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct market research across Web3, DeFi, forex, payments, and crypto ecosystems
  • Support outbound outreach campaigns via email, LinkedIn, Telegram, and X (Twitter)
  • Assist in preparing pitch decks, one-pagers, and proposals using Google Slides and AI tools
  • Manage and update lead pipelines in CRM or Google Sheets with accurate tracking
  • Coordinate follow-ups with prospects and internal teams to ensure deal progression
  • Support representation of GBCI Ventures at events and online communities when required

Job Requirements

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves:

  • Exceptional English communication (written and verbal)
  • Quick learner—prior Web3/crypto experience not required, but willingness to dive deep is essential
  • High agency & self-starter—you take initiative and make things happen
  • Meticulous and organized—you manage multiple leads without dropping the ball
  • BD, sales, or marketing experience with strong positioning and messaging skills

Strong Advantages:

  • Multilingual—Mandarin, or other Asian languages
  • Experience managing high-volume pipelines
  • Startup or venture-building background
