This is a part time remote assistant role for a Green Building Facilitator. The assistant of Green Building Facilitator will oversee and coordinate efforts to create sustainable, environmentally responsible building designs and operations. Daily tasks include prepare the reports and document writing assessmentby supporting GBI certification processes, implementing energy-efficient strategies, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. The role also involves developing educational programs and promoting sustainable practices.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in sustainable design practices, GBI rating tools frameworks, and other green building certifications rating tools.
• Knowledge of energy-efficient systems, renewable energy technologies, and resource conservation strategies
• Project management skills, including the ability to coordinate with diverse teams and manage timelines effectively
• Strong analytical and research skills for conducting environmental assessments and data analysis
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and stakeholders
• Proficiency in design and analysis tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or energy modeling software is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
• Relevant certifications such as GreenREAP, GBIF are added value
• Ability to stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and policies in green building and sustainability
