Senior Executive, Group ERP (SUN) Support

The Senior Executive, Group ERP (SUN) Support is responsible for supporting the Group’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system – SunSystems. This includes system administration,
end-user support, internal control assurance, and coordination between functional teams and third-party service providers.

The position provides technical and functional support to ensure the ERP system operates efficiently and in compliance with the Group’s policies and procedures. The role also supports ERP
improvement and automation initiatives aimed at enhancing data accuracy and improving the efficiency of the financial closing process at the Group level.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Serve as the Group’s systems administrator and provide first-line functional and technical support to end users.
• Ensure system integrity, compliance with internal controls, and alignment with Group policies and procedures.
• Act as liaison and coordinator between functional and third-party service providers to resolve system issues and implement enhancements.
• Proactively identify opportunities for system integration and automation to improve business processes and reporting accuracy.
• Troubleshoot, track, and resolve issues arising from internal reviews, system assessments, and audit findings.
• Support periodic upgrades, data migrations, and testing of ERP functionalities as required.
• Maintain documentation of system configurations, workflows, and internal processes.
• Execute ad-hoc assignments to support corporate-level system requirements and other duties as assigned by the Group ERP Lead.

KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Qualification:
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Business, or equivalent qualification from recognized universities.
• Experience:
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role with SunSystems (version 6.2.x and above).
  • Experience in SunSystems integration, automation scripts, database configuration, workflows, escalations, and reporting.
  • Exposure to corporate reporting, internal controls, and statutory audit requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with key SunSystems modules such as General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Bank Payments, and Tax.
  • Basic understanding of oil & gas processing facilities is an added advantage.
• Skills and Knowledge
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving environment with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Proficiency in SQL database management and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Self-motivated with high attention to detail, strong analytical and financial analysis capabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Finance, Accounting, and Business Operations.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload to meet business deadlines.
