Overview

Our client is a leading multinational construction and engineering contractor involved in large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects across Malaysia. Their Johor projects focus on high-value M&E and industrial facilities, offering long-term career growth in a structured, performance-driven environment.

The Quantity Surveyor (M&E) will manage all cost and contract functions related to project execution — ensuring cost control, accurate billing, and timely claim submissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review cost estimates, quotations, and BOQs for M&E works.
• Manage tender submissions, variation orders, and progress claims.
• Monitor project budgets and control costs against actual expenditure.
• Handle subcontractor evaluation, contracts, and payment certifications.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and services in line with project requirements.
• Liaise with site, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure financial accuracy

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor in construction projects.
• Familiar with local material pricing and construction contracts (PAM, JKR, etc.).
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and documentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and cost management tools.
• Fluent in English and Malay; Mandarin an advantage.
