Job Description

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in automation testing, particularly using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, and Cucumber. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about software quality, has solid hands-on experience with API testing, and thrives in a collaborative, agile, and fast-paced environment. A background in FinTech is highly advantageous.

• Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (TypeScript), Selenium, and Cucumber.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including functional, regression, performance, and API testing.
• Perform cross-browser and responsive testing across various devices and platforms.
• Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to define and implement effective test strategies.
• Automate API testing to ensure robust integration and data flow across services.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and other frameworks.
• Identify, log, and manage defects through the software development lifecycle.
• Drive continuous improvement in test coverage, automation reliability, and overall software quality.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of overall QA experience, with a strong focus on automation over the past 3 years.
• Proven experience in automation tools: Playwright (TypeScript preferred), Selenium, Cucumber
• Proficient in scripting for automation using TypeScript, Python, or Java.
• Solid hands-on experience with API testing and automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, and testing across GUI and API layers.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Bonus: Experience in FinTech or financial software testing.
• Candidates with shorter notice period will be prioritised.
