Role Overview:

As a Technical Lead, you will be at the forefront of our client's technology initiatives, overseeing the design, development, and implementation of fintech solutions that redefine how people manage their finances. You will lead a team of talented developers, ensure the delivery of high-quality products, and contribute strategically to our client's technical direction. 

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and inspire a team of developers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration. 
• Oversee the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of fintech solutions, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure systems. 
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align technical efforts with business goals, delivering impactful products on time and within scope. 
• Collaborate with external vendors to manage outsourced work, ensuring alignment with our client’s standards and seamless integration with internal systems. 
• Build strong relationships with external partners, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of outsourced projects. 
• Stay ahead of industry trends, driving the adoption of emerging technologies to keep our client at the forefront of fintech innovation. 
• Mentor team members, sharing your expertise and enabling them to grow into technical leaders of tomorrow.

Job Requirements

• Above 10 years in a Technical Lead role or equivalent experience, with a proven track record of designing, building, and deploying scalable digital platforms. 3+ years of experience in managing a team.
• Expertise in cloud technologies (AWS) and managing distributed systems. 
• Proficient in backend development using modern frameworks (Node.js, Java) and frontend technologies (e.g. React.js, Angular, Vue.js). 
• Strong knowledge of API architecture, including RESTful and GraphQL, for seamless integration with internal and third-party systems. 
• Skilled in working with databases, including both relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB). 
• Hands-on experience in managing DevOps pipelines, CI/CD workflows, and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes. 
• Exceptional adaptability and problem-solving skills, with the ability to pivot quickly and deliver results under tight timelines in a fast-paced environment. 
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with a knack for managing cross-functional teams and external vendors. 
• A passion for fintech, with an eagerness to challenge norms and create solutions that empower users to take control of their financial futures.

Preferred to have:

• Knowledge with data security protocols and compliance standards relevant to financial services (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS). 
• Familiarity with wealth management tools, portfolio analysis algorithms, or financial data modelling will be a plus.
