Job Description

• Resolve design and technical issues for the project team to ensure smooth execution.
• Support the Contract Department with Bill of Quantities (BQ) and costing when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and present design ideas and concepts.
• Handle projects independently from the conceptualization and development stages through to completion.
• Develop and present design concepts, mood boards, and 3D visualizations to effectively communicate ideas.
• Select appropriate materials, colors, lighting, and furniture to create cohesive and visually appealing designs.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for construction and installation purposes.
• Collaborate and coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Participate in high-energy, collaborative team environments and project discussions.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure design accuracy and quality standards.
• Possess own transport and be willing to travel outstation when required.

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Professional Degree in Art, Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English.
• Minimum of 3 years of working experience in Interior Design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, KUJIALE, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong ability to generate detailed drawings and coordinate design projects.
• Ability to create sketches and have good knowledge of reflected ceiling plans, M&E drawings, etc.
• Photography and visual merchandising skills are a bonus.
• Exceptional conceptual design and design development skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in measurements and specifications.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Highly independent, creative, rigorous, and organized with a strong design sensibility.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel outstation.
