We are looking for a motivated Software Developer Intern (AI & Automation) to join our growing e-commerce team.

In this role, you will help us develop and improve internal systems, web tools, websites and business automation workflows. You will have the opportunity to work on real projects involving software development, artificial intelligence, workflow automation and e-commerce operations.

This internship is suitable for someone who enjoys solving problems, learning new technologies and using software to improve business efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining internal web-based systems, tools and applications.
• Build and improve business automation workflows using platforms such as n8n.
• Integrate different systems using APIs, webhooks and third-party services.
• Support the development and maintenance of company websites, including WordPress websites.
• Explore and implement AI tools to improve internal operations, customer service, content creation and data processing.
• Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex or similar platforms to support software development.
• Assist in troubleshooting bugs, system errors and automation workflow issues.
• Work with different departments to understand their processes and identify opportunities for automation.
• Test, document and improve existing systems and workflows.
• Research new software, AI tools and automation solutions that may benefit the company.
• Perform other software development and technology-related tasks when required.
• Debug and solve existing and new bugs.
  

Job Requirements

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of software development and programming concepts.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language, such as JavaScript, Python, PHP or another relevant language.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, databases, APIs or web development.
• Strong interest in artificial intelligence, automation and software development.
• Willing to learn new tools and technologies independently.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Able to communicate clearly and work well with different team members.
• Responsible, organised and able to manage assigned tasks.
• Able to work independently with guidance and complete tasks within the required timeline.

Optional or Advantageous Skills

The following experience is an advantage but is not compulsory:

• Experience with WordPress, including website editing, plugins, themes or WooCommerce.
• Familiarity with n8n, Make, Zapier or other workflow automation platforms.
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Codex, Gemini or other AI development tools.
• Basic experience with API integration, webhooks and JSON.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, Python, PHP, Node.js or similar technologies.
• Experience with GitHub or version-control tools.
• Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL or Firebase.
• Experience developing websites, internal systems, dashboards or simple applications.
• Interest in e-commerce systems, order management, inventory, customer service or marketing automation.
