Overview:
We’re looking for a Social Media & Performance Marketer to join the Social team at Lazada Malaysia — someone who understands that performance and creativity go hand in hand. If you love experimenting with new ideas, geeking out on ad performance, and crafting content that sparks engagement and drives results, this role is for you.

You’ll be part of a team that shapes Lazada’s voice on social, working across channels and campaigns with the freedom to pitch, plan, and push boundaries. You’ll also collaborate closely with our Southeast Asia and Global teams, gaining regional exposure and cross-cultural experience.

Description:
- Support the Malaysia Social team in executing integrated campaigns that drive mindshare, engagement, and social mentions across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), and XiaoHongShu.
- Plan, launch, and optimize paid social campaigns with performance metrics in mind — CPM, CPE, Views, Engagement, Mentions, and more.
- Track and analyze performance using platforms like Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, and X Ads Manager, delivering actionable insights for ongoing improvement.
- Manage campaign budgets efficiently to achieve strong ROI and meet business goals.
- Generate clear and insightful performance reports for internal stakeholders.
- Support the creation of impactful, on-brand content and social-first ideas that spark conversation and sharing.
- Work closely with internal teams (Brand, Creative, Commercial) and external partners to develop and execute integrated campaigns.
- Stay ahead of the curve on social trends, emerging platforms, and performance marketing innovations — and bring that energy back to the team.


Job Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, focusing on social media platforms.
- Proficiency in META Ads Manager, X Ads Manager, and TikTok Ads
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Experience managing budgets and driving measurable ROI through paid social media campaigns.
- Primarily focused on top- and mid-funnel strategies, with a strong grasp of audience targeting and engagement. A working understanding of audience segmentation, retargeting, and conversion funnels is a plus.
- Creative mindset with an eye for engaging visuals and messaging.
- Good understanding of social media platforms, analytics, and best practices, with the ability to develop and execute effective social media strategies and content.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, and able to adapt to new trends and emerging platforms quickly.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative campaigns that drive results.
