About Lips Carpenter

Lips Carpenter is a local clean beauty brand specialising in personalised, artisan beauty products. We focus on thoughtful formulas, meaningful gifting, and strong visual storytelling across digital platforms.

As a Digital Marketing Executive, you will play a key role in growing our presence on 小红书 (XHS) while supporting essential design and e-commerce execution. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys turning content and visuals into real brand impact — not just ideas.

What You’ll Do

1. XHS Content Ownership

• Plan, execute, and manage XHS content calendars aligned with brand and campaign goals
• Create XHS-optimised content, including: writing captions in Chinese, editing short-form videos (e.g. CapCut / 剪映), designing layouts, visuals, and tones that fit the brand’s aesthetic
• Shoot and edit photos/videos with good sense of composition, lighting, and styling
• Research XHS trends, formats, and visual styles, and test them consistently 
• Manage XHS KOL / KOC outreach and affiliate initiatives
   

2. Design & Visual Support

• Design posters, banners, and visual assets for campaigns, launches, and events
• Support basic product and marketing visuals while maintaining brand consistency
• Work closely with the design and marketing team to ensure visuals are accurate and on-brand
   

3. E-commerce & Execution Support

• Support product uploads and updates on e-commerce platforms (images, descriptions, visuals)
• Assist with website and campaign page updates when required
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and visual consistency across platforms

Job Requirements

Who We’re Looking For

• Strong command of Chinese (able to write, read, and think confidently in Chinese)
• Actively uses 小红书 (XHS) and understands content culture and trends 
• Strong video editing skills (CapCut / 剪映 or similar)
• Good eye for aesthetics, composition, and visual storytelling 
• Detail-oriented, action-biased, and able to work independently and follow through
• Experience with design tools (Photoshop / Illustrator / Canva), XHS brand accounts, or e-commerce backend is a plus
• A problem solver who looks for solutions before escalating issues
