<p>Malaysia Airports manages and operates 39 airports in Malaysia and one international airport in Istanbul, Turkey. The 39 airports in Malaysia comprise of 5 international, 16 domestic and 18 Short Take-Off and Landing Ports (STOL Ports). Malaysia Airports is the company that helps connect the country – bringing together remote, rural communities with the vibrant cities and providing the country’s premier gateway to the world beyond.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p>Malaysia Airports was corporatised in 1992 and listed on the Malaysian Stock Exchange (Bursa Malaysia) seven years later, becoming the first Asian airport operator to go public and only the sixth in the world to do so. It now employs some 11,000 people in Malaysia and around the world.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p>Our core business is the management, operation, maintenance and development of airports. The company draws its revenue from aeronautical operations – aircraft landing and parking fees, passenger service charges and other airline charges – and commercial activities from airport-related services such as duty free shops and other retail outlets, hotel operations, commercial leasing and car park management.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p>Over the past decades, Malaysia Airports has developed a business model that focuses not only on the airports portfolio, but also on optimising the commercial opportunities presented by the travel and aviation industry. The role also supports strategic initiatives and tender processes to enhance commercial sustainability and operational excellence across the airports.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of ~1,800 commercial contracts across MA Sepang and MASB airports including negotiation, execution, enforcement, renewal, variation, and termination—while ensuring alignment with commercial policies and achievement of the targeted revenue budget.</li> <li>Ensure full compliance with contract terms and operational execution at all Malaysia Airports Sdn Bhd (MASB) airports.</li> <li>Lead operational enforcement exercises and handle contract disputes in coordination with Legal and internal stakeholders.</li> <li>Lead and coordinate all audit-related activities for the Commercial Services Division (CSD), including preparation for internal/external audits (e.g., IMS, IAD), timely resolution of findings, and implementation of corrective actions to ensure full compliance and governance across contract and operational processes.</li> <li>Monitor SAP data accuracy and manage the centralised contract database and CMU Forms validation.</li> <li>Liaise with airport operations (e.g., Terminal, AVSEC, CARE, Engineering) to ensure seamless commercial operations.</li> <li>Coordinate contract-related audits (internal/external) and ensure corrective actions are implemented.</li> <li>Prepare and review BOD, MPC/BPC papers and internal presentations related to contract and revenue initiatives.</li> <li>Manage account-based strategies, particularly for high-value tenants, to optimise space and revenue.</li> <li>Lead customer engagement initiatives, including managing escalations and strategic partnerships with key retailers.</li> <li>Spearhead initiatives for operational improvement, digitalisation, and lean implementation (e.g., Tender Automation, CLM).</li> <li>Resposible on periodic
