Job Description

1. Tracking and Recording: Maintain accurate records of all inventory items, including quantity, price and location.
2. Inventory Control: Maintain inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
3. Cycle Counts and Audits: Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to verify accuracy. Investigate on inventory variances.
4. Inventory Receiving / Outgoing: Managing the process of receiving and outgoing shipments and ensuring accuracy. May be involved in warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping inventory.
5. Demand Forecasting: Analysing historical data and trends to predict future demand, optimize inventory levels and storage.
6. Inventory Reports: Generating reports on inventory levels, stockouts, inventory variance, stock aging and other relevant metrics.
7. Any other duties as required by the Head of Department.

Job Requirements

1. Diploma or certificate in Supply Chain Management, Business administration, Operations Management, or in a related field.
2. At least 2 years of experience in inventory, warehouse management, supply chain management, purchasing, logistics is required.
3. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
4. Ability to communicate effectively with warehouse staff, and other stakeholders.
5. Ability to identify and resolve inventory related issues.
6. Familiarity with inventory management systems and software. Proficiency with computing systems e.g SQL Accounting Software and ERP system is preferred.
7. Understanding of the entire supply chain process.
