Why does this job exist and why is it critical?
A functional leader, within the Retail Store Organization, whose primary responsibility is to manage all back of house operational and other support activities that are essential to the front line staff (sales and services teams in particular shift).
Key Accountability:
- This is a functional leader, within the Retail Store Organization, whose primary accountability is to handle all services related transactions through a retail team (in particular shift) of Customer Service Consultants (Services), including mobile data tech help.
- Lead a retail team (in particular shift) of CCC (Services / Service Ambassadors / Mobile Data) to effectively and proficiently manage all service transactions.
- The position holder is required to implement a series of planned initiatives aimed at delivering a brand of customer service.
- Execute Customer Service initiatives, including educating and promoting self-serve service options to encourage customers to interact with Maxis via more cost effective and convenient avenues.
- Monitor daily operational KPIs in allocated retail zone (such as Wait Time, Transaction Time, Inventory Level By store keeping unit, sales numbers etc.) as well as customers’ feedbacks conscientiously.
- Create a work environment that motivates retail staff (in particular shift) to excel and contribute towards the attainment of individual and team targets. Support employees to tackle issues and encourage continuous exploration of process improvement initiatives.
- As a frontline staff, position holder shall be expected to possess good knowledge of Maxis products and services to handle basic sales enquiries at the minimal, with an eye on turning a service enquiry into a sales opportunity.
The Fit:
- Candidate must possess at least a SPM, Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
- Preferably with 3 years of relevant working experience however Fresh Graduates can still be considered.
- Minimum performance rating of "Good".
- Able to work on shift hours, weekends and public holidays – interesting incentives / allowances awaits you.
- Sales oriented and able to multi-task.
- Mandarin proficiency would be an added advantage.
- Must be willing to work in work location as stated above.
