Job Description

As a Supply Chain & Inventory Planner at Mossery, you will play a crucial role in optimising our supply chain operations. Your expertise will ensure efficient inventory management and contribute to the smooth functioning of procurement, production, and fulfilment processes.


Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted production and fulfilment while minimizing excess stock.
  2. Demand Forecasting: Analyze sales trends, market dynamics, and seasonal variations to accurately forecast demand and adjust inventory levels accordingly.
  3. Supplier Management: Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality materials, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
  4. Production Planning: Coordinate with the Production department to create schedules that align with inventory availability and demand forecasts.
  5. Cost Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities in the supply chain process without compromising on quality or customer satisfaction.
  6. Data Analysis: Regularly review and report on supply chain performance, using data to drive decisions and improvements.
  7. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Finance departments to ensure alignment of supply chain strategies with overall business objectives.
  8. Risk Management: Proactively identify potential supply chain disruptions and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks.
  9. Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve supply chain and inventory management processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, or logistics. 
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and MS Office.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are a must.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
