<p>Since 1912, Nestlé has been nourishing Malaysians through our quality brands and products, whilst maintaining our Halal excellence and integrity. <p>Our commitment to providing quality products to Malaysians dates back over 100 years ago. Nestlé began in Malaysia in 1912 as the Anglo-Swiss Condensed Milk Company in Penang and later, due to growth and expansion made a move to Kuala Lumpur necessary in 1939.</p>
<h2><strong>Where we are today</strong></h2>
<p>Following the nation’s independence in 1957, there came a need for increased job opportunities and more product options. Following this, in the mid-1960s, we began our Culinary Products Division producing exciting culinary solutions under the well-loved MAGGI trademark. This led to the establishment of our first manufacturing facility in Malaysia.</p>
<p>Today, Nestlé Malaysia operates 6 factories and employs more than 5,000 employees nationwide, producing over 500 Halal-certified products. Many of our key brands have now become a part of Malaysian households for generations including Malaysian favourites such as <em>Milo, Maggi, Nescafé</em> and <em>Kit Kat</em>. Having been present in the nation and in the hearts of Malaysians for over a century, we are firmly committed to offering the very best in quality, nutrition and taste.</p>

Projects should be validated and progress constantly reviewed to ensure completion and realisation of savings.</li> <li>Understand key factory cost drivers and the link to factory variances and GLOBE/SAP reports in order to prioritise cost improvement opportunities.</li> <li>Coordinate reporting of actual costs: timeliness and accuracy of input data for Period-end Close (PEC); ensuring external and internal financial policies, Accounting Standards and Costing Standards are followed. Provides early warning to stakeholders in case of major cost deviations at department level or SKU level.</li> <li>Participate in business planning: coordinate, challenge and prepare the input assumptions for the Annual Cost Estimate (ACE) and Dynamic Forecast (DF).
