Job Description

1) Financial Planning and Analysis

• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Analyze financial performance and recommend improvements.
• Support management with data-driven financial insights.

2) Accounting and Reporting

• Ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

3) Cash and Asset Management

• Manage cash flow to maintain liquidity.
• Oversee investments, banking relationships, and credit facilities.
• Monitor working capital and optimize resource use.

4) Risk and Compliance

• Implement internal controls to prevent fraud or mismanagement.
• Ensure tax compliance and audit readiness.
• Assess financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.

5) Strategic Advisory

• Advise leadership on funding, expansion, and cost control.
• Evaluate capital expenditure and return on investment.
• Contribute to financial modeling for business plans or funding rounds.

Job Requirements

• The applicant should have a minimum of LCCI, Diploma, or Degree in Accounting.
• A minimum of 4-7 years of pertinent work experience is essential for this role.
• Candidate must be a Malaysian citizen.
• Proficiency in computer skills is required, particularly in MS Office applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Autocount Accounting and HR software is preferred.
• Required languages include English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
• Work location is in Sri Petaling.
