<li>To support and assist in managing the full spectrum of purchasing activities, including developing and implementing purchasing strategies and plans, identifying and selecting new vendors/suppliers, evaluating price quotations and managing existing vendors/suppliers.</li>
<li>Facilitate good communication and feedback among Project Department and vendors/suppliers to ensure the continuity and full integration of the purchasing function.</li>
<li>Collaborate with management and coordinate with all relevant departments to establish effectiveness, quality standards, develop and carry-out ideas and procedures to continuously improve department performance.</li>
<li>Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.</li>
<li>To establish assesses and implements the purchasing system / function throughout company in parameters of cost and time effectiveness and identifying areas of improvement.</li>
<li>Periodically analyze and report current pricing and market trends for main materials.</li>
<li>To formulate and manage purchasing policies, instructions as required by company’s quality management system.</li>
<li>Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets. Ensure sourcing strategies achieve cost competitiveness, cost reduction program and maximizing the procurement value.</li>
<li>Prepare documentation, data, report as and when required</li>
<li>Supervising, allocating task and identify training needs of staff.</li>
<li>Liaise with suppliers on material issues and ensure all material aspects of the building projects meet customers and statutory requirements.</li>
