Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and energetic Service Crew (Scooper) to join our gelato shop team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, assist with gelato selections, operate the POS system, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate comfortably in English and Malay with customers and team members. 
• Greet customers warmly as they enter the gelato shop. 
• Assist customers in selecting gelato flavors and toppings, offering recommendations when needed. 
• Operate the POS system, handle cash and card transactions accurately, and provide correct change and receipts. 
• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including counters, display cases, and equipment. 
• Ensure display cases are well-stocked, visually appealing, and correctly represent available flavors. 
• Assist with basic food preparation, including waffles and other menu items. 
• Follow strict food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines at all times. 
• Maintain good personal hygiene and adhere to the proper uniform (PPG T-shirt and apron). 
• Follow cleaning schedules and report maintenance issues promptly. 
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with co-workers. 
• Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally and courteously. 
• Comply with all shop policies and procedures. 

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• Comfortable communicating in English and Malay. 
• Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. 
• Willingness to follow instructions and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards. 
• Prior experience in F&B is a plus but not required.
