Job Overview

PERSOLKELLY is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated HR intern to assist the HR department in day-to-day administrative tasks and HR-related activities. The HR intern’s responsibilities include updating and maintaining the accuracy of employee records, assisting with payroll, executing tasks associated with managing projects as well as managing project resources. You should also be able to draft employee communications notifying staff of employee development, HR policy, and procedural changes. In the HR intern role, you will work under the supervision of the HR manager or the senior HR officer. Success in this role will be demonstrated by delivering high-quality and timely HR assistance under minimal supervision, helping the HR department meet daily objectives. Ultimately, an outstanding HR intern should be detail-oriented and able to demonstrate excellent administrative and organizational skills.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

-Updating company databases by inputting new employee information and employment details

-Maintain payroll data including leaves, working hours, and bank accounts

-Help prepare Word, PowerPoint, and Excel documents

-Support the preparation of training programs, company social and networking events 

-Participate in the training programs, company social and networking events 

-Track progress, priorities, and deadlines of various projects

-Writes employee communications and correspondence about updates in HR policies, training programs, and company events

-Performs ad hoc tasks as required

-Enrolled in a university or college program at junior or senior level, preferred course of study to include Psychology, Human Resources, Communications, Business or related

-Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications

-Ability to demonstrate professional work ethic

-Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

-Excellent administrative and organizational skills

-Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

-Solid organizational skills and attention to detail



-Develop experience working on a wide variety of HR projects

-Gain exposure to a fast-paced, collaborative office environment

-Work side-by-side with a highly experienced HR executive

-Organize and attend company meetings and networking events
