ROLE 1: AI DIGITAL MEDIA INTERN

Your mission: Launch and grow the founder's TikTok account.

What you'll do:

• Develop and execute a TikTok content strategy for the Pertama Partners founder
• Plan, shoot, and edit short-form videos (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts)
• Research trending formats, sounds, and hooks relevant to AI, business, and tech audiences
• Build a content calendar and maintain a consistent posting schedule
• Use AI tools to accelerate your workflow: scripting, captioning, thumbnail generation, trend analysis
• Track performance metrics and iterate based on data
• Repurpose podcast appearances and blog content into short-form video clips

You must have:

• A personal TikTok account with 5,000+ followers
• Demonstrated understanding of media creation workflows: ideation, scripting, shooting, editing, publishing
• AI-native mindset: you already use AI tools (ChatGPT, CapCut AI, Runway, etc.) in your creative process
• Strong visual storytelling instincts

ROLE 2: AI DIGITAL OUTREACH INTERN

Your mission: Get Pertama Partners featured in publications and podcasts that matter.

What you'll do:

• Scan daily journalist queries on platforms like MentionMatch and HARO, then draft expert commentary responses
• Pitch journalists and editors at business, tech, and AI publications for guest posts and expert quotes
• Research and pitch podcast hosts to book guest appearances for our founder
• Build and maintain target lists: 50+ publications and 30+ relevant podcasts
• Use AI tools to research, draft pitches, analyze opportunities, and manage follow-ups
• Track all outreach activity: pitches sent, responses, placements, live backlinks
• Prepare podcast briefing docs and talking points before recordings

You must have:

• Exceptional English writing skills (this role is 80% writing)
• Understanding of basic AI tools and a desire to go deeper
• AI-native mindset: you see AI as a workflow accelerator, not a novelty
• Strong organizational skills for managing dozens of simultaneous pitches and deadlines

ROLE 3: AI CONTENT & SEO INTERN

Your mission: Create the content that powers everything else.

What you'll do:

• Write blog posts, LinkedIn content, and website copy for Pertama Partners
• Repurpose podcast episodes into written articles, key takeaway posts, and social content
• Optimize existing website pages for SEO (meta descriptions, internal linking, keyword targeting)
• Draft LinkedIn posts for the founder's personal brand
• Use AI tools to research topics, generate first drafts, and optimize content for search
• Coordinate with the outreach and media interns to align content across all channels

You must have:

• Strong English writing skills with an ability to write in a professional but approachable tone
• Understanding of basic AI tools and a desire to go deeper
• AI-native mindset: you already use AI to research, outline, and draft content
• Interest in SEO, content marketing, or digital strategy
• Ability to turn complex AI/business topics into clear, readable content

COMPENSATION AND STRUCTURE:

• Base: RM800/month
• Performance bonus: Up to RM2,500/month based on targets hit
• Duration: 3 months per cycle
• Setup: Remote-first with 1-2 days per week in KL office
• Team: 3 interns + founder/CEO

Pertama Partners AI Internship 2026

Pertama Partners is a Southeast Asian AI training and advisory firm. We are hiring three interns to grow our online visibility from the ground up through short-form video, media outreach, and SEO-driven content.

Available Roles:

• AI Digital Media Intern: Launch and grow the founder's TikTok/Reels engine.
• AI Digital Outreach Intern: Pitch journalists and book podcast appearances.
• AI Content & SEO Intern: Write blog posts, LinkedIn content, and website copy.

What You Get:

• Monthly compensation: RM500 base + up to RM2,500 performance bonus.
• Hands-on AI training and direct mentorship from the founder/CEO.
• Hybrid structure: Remote-first with 1-2 days/week in our KL office.
