Job Description
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for all general purchasing functions such as sourcing, negotiation, and placing orders with approved vendors to meet manufacturing requirements.
- Respond effectively to problems arising from late delivery, damaged goods, incorrect delivery, invoice pricing, etc.
- Ensure all procurement processes and documents follow company policies and are well documented.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior.
- Adhere to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 requirements and best practices in procurement.
- Take overall responsibility and accountability for the effectiveness of the HSE management system and the prevention of work-related injury and ill health, as well as ensuring an environmentally friendly, safe, and healthy workplace and activities.
Job Requirements
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1 year working experience in the related field
- Ability to understand basic functions and specifications of items used in manufacturing
- Attention to detail and multitasking
- Good negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and meet set timelines
