Job Description

We are looking for an energetic, digitally savvy, and creative Digital Marketing & Administrative Intern to support content creation, website and social media management, marketing collateral design, and day-to-day program and office operations.

This is a hands-on, 3-month paid internship (RM1,000/month), ideal for someone eager to learn how a social enterprise builds and grows its impact while gaining real-world experience in digital marketing, communications, events, and administrative operations. The role combines desk-based tasks with practical support and occasional errands to keep programs and campaigns running smoothly. Outstanding interns may be considered for longer-term roles with Project TRY.

Digital Marketing & Communications

  • Plan, create, and publish content across all social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook)
  • Update and maintain the Project TRY website (no coding required — basic CMS/drag-and-drop platform)
  • Support digital campaigns to promote our programs, products, and services
  • Create simple designs using Canva (posters, social posts, newsletters)
  • Capture photos and short videos during programs and visits for storytelling and marketing
  • Help track engagement, analytics, and trends to improve digital performance

Administrative & Program Support

  • Process receipts, invoices, and reimbursements accurately and on time
  • Assist with booking travel, venues, and logistics for programs
  • Maintain well-organized digital and physical filing systems
  • Support workshops, events, and community programs when needed (registration, coordination, note-taking)
  • Run occasional errands (e.g., stationery, printing, courier) — expenses covered
  • Provide ad-hoc admin support to the CEO and program leads

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Fully functional laptop & mobile phone with data.
  • Non-smoker/ no drugs / alcohol / substance addiction.
  • Zero criminal record, PDRM search will be conducted.
