ABOUT THE ROLE

Furmocare is building its first content creation team and you will be employee #1. We need a creative who can make pet owners stop scrolling. You will produce the content that fills our Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Shopee store — from product shoots and short-form videos to educational posts and campaign visuals. This is a hands-on execution role: you ideate, shoot, edit, and publish.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Content Production

•  Shoot and edit short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook (product demos, UGC-style, educational, testimonial formats)
•  Produce still photography for Shopee listings, social feeds, and promotional materials (product flat lays, lifestyle shots, before/after)
•  Write copy for social captions, Shopee product descriptions, email blasts, and WhatsApp broadcasts
•  Design graphics and visual assets using Canva or Adobe tools (banners, stories, campaign creatives)

Content Strategy & Scheduling

•  Own the monthly content calendar — plan themes, formats, and posting schedule across all channels
•  Research trends on TikTok and Instagram relevant to the pet / pet health space
•  Repurpose content efficiently across platforms without it feeling copy-pasted
•  Monitor comments, DMs, and community interactions — engage and escalate where needed

E-commerce Content

•  Create and update Shopee listing images, A+ content banners, and store homepage visuals
•  Produce campaign-specific creatives for 11.11, 12.12, and promotional periods
•  Work with the Growth Marketer to supply ad creatives in the right formats and specs

Job Requirements

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

•  1–3 years in content creation, social media, or digital marketing — agency or brand side both welcome
•  Strong video editing skills
•  A good eye for aesthetics - you understand what makes a post feel premium vs. cheap
•  Copywriting ability in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin a strong bonus
•  Familiarity with Shopee listing standards and what makes a product page convert
•  Self-starter who can execute without waiting to be told exactly what to do
•  Proven ability to grow organic reach- ideally with examples of content that performed without paid amplification (e.g. TikTok views, Instagram reach growth)
•  Able to plan and execute in-house product photoshoots independently — flat lays, lifestyle, and campaign imagery; basic Photoshop or Lightroom for editing
•  Bonus: passion for animals and pets!
