Your primary responsibility will be to assess project requirements, prepare quantity takeoffs, and estimate the costs of materials, labor, and equipment needed for each project.

<li>Conduct thorough analysis of project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to understand the scope of work and project requirements.</li>
<li>Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment required for interior design projects.</li>
<li>Prepare quotations for customers.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the design team to identify and evaluate cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.</li>
<li>Research and source materials, equipment, and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and ensure compliance with project specifications.</li>
<li>Review and analyze supplier/subcontractor quotations, negotiate pricing, and make recommendations to the project team.</li>
<li>Create and maintain accurate project budgets, monitoring costs throughout the project lifecycle, and providing regular cost reports to stakeholders.</li>
<li>Maintain up-to-date cost control of project variations (VO).</li>
<li>Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.</li>
<li>Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, validate quantities, and address any cost-related issues.</li>
<li>Collaborate with project managers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.</li>
<li>Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to quantity surveying and interior design.</li>
<li>Ad hoc task requested by management on site supervision.</li>
</ul>
