Overview

We are looking for a friendly, responsible Service Crew member to join our Ayam Penyet restaurant. This role focuses on ensuring customers have a pleasant dining experience through good service, clean surroundings, and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with seating.
   
• Take orders accurately.
   
• Answer menu questions and make simple recommendations.
   
• Serve food and drinks promptly.
   
• Handle customer feedback or direct issues to the supervisor.
   

Cashiering

• Operate the cash register or POS system.
   
• Handle payments accurately (cash, e-wallets, card).
   
• Maintain proper cash-handling and receipt procedures.
   

Food Preparation Assistance

(Light prep depending on restaurant)

• Prepare drinks, sambal, condiments, and basic plating.
   
• Assist kitchen staff during peak hours.
   
• Ensure takeaway/food delivery orders are packed correctly.
   

Restaurant Cleanliness

• Clean tables, chairs, and dining areas regularly.
   
• Keep service areas tidy and stocked (cutlery, tissues, cups, etc.).
   
• Wash dishes when required.
   
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards (gloves, hairnets, sanitizing).
   

General Operations

• Restock supplies (napkins, sauces, drinks).
   
• Set up the restaurant before opening and assist with closing duties.
   
• Support team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
   

Job Requirements

• No experience required; training will be provided.
   
• Friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
   
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
   
• Good communication skills.
   
• Able to work weekends and public holidays (rotational shifts).
   
• Basic understanding of hygiene and cleanliness.
