Product Management and Business Planning

  • Develop and validate short- and long-range planning (LRP) and forecasting models for the product portfolio

  • Achieve targets for sales, profit contribution and market penetration for the product portfolio

  • Drive implementation of appropriate market research and analysis to optimise outcomes for the product portfolio

  • Drive and lead the implementation of key projects for the product portfolio in conjunction with the Brand Team

  • Drive and coordinate Brand Plan together with Brand Team

  • Forecast sales and stocks

  • Effectively manage advertising and promotion budgets

  • Prepare reviews as well as Budget & LRP plans as required

Strategy Implementation

  • Develop, implement and drive growth strategies for key market segments

  • Regularly discuss and review business strategies with Marketing Manager and/or Business Unit Head

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of promotion and advertising programmes, using set guidelines, and make recommendations for improvements within code of conduct guidelines

  • Develop detailed KOL action plans, prioritise opportunities and schedule to follow up regularly, in conjunction with the brand team

  • Equip the sales team with the necessary product knowledge, materials and market intelligence to enable effective execution

Brand Team Partnership/ Leadership

  • Be an active and proactive key member of the core and extended brand team

  • Create a sense of common purpose across business unit teams and shares business/sales imperatives, by establishing clear and positive messages about what needs to be achieved

  • Collaborate to create brand strategy and an integrated brand plan and work with the brand team to identify opportunities to create value for the business and ultimately the patients

Product Promotion

  • Develop, implement and evaluate successful messaging and promotional campaigns and materials

  • Gain support and buy-in from Sales Force by involving Sales Managers and Sales Force in developing key strategies, tactics and materials

  • Regularly monitor market place, brand evolution and adjust plans and forecasts accordingly

  • Identify and develop plans around key stakeholders (KOLs, scientific and patient societies, etc.) to build positive relationship

  • Act as the product champion and ensure the Sales Force get optimal product and environment knowledge

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders (Brand team, Sales, Medical Affairs, Public Affairs, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Communication, MCE and etc.)

  • Maintain relationships and actively engage with customers and key opinions leaders relevant to the performance of the business

Compliance, Pharmacovigilance and HSE responsibilities

  • Ensure all activities, strategies, campaigns, interactions with HCPs and patients (if any) strictly adhere to Sanofi Compliance guidelines and the respective countries pharmaceutical code of conduct

  • Responsible in complying and meeting all HSE roles and responsibilities in accordance to the existing HSE Policy

  • Report any incidence related to pharmacovigilance within 24 hours

  • Identify and correct unsafe conditions or behaviours and immediately notify the Manager of any serious incidents; complete an Incident / Injury Report and forward to Human Resources within 48 hours where necessary.

About You

  • Proven track record in product management in ethical pharmaceutical industry

  • Experience in sales and managing pharmaceutical compliance guidelines

  • Strong analytical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills

  • Possess leadership, networking, influencing and negotiation skills

  • Market intelligence, business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit

  • Ability to adapt to change and strategic focus

  • Planning and project management skills

  • Experience in dermatology and marketing of biologics is an added advantage

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field e.g., Business, Commerce, Marketing, Science, Pharmacy, Medicine
