Position Overview

•  Perform microbiological sampling and testing on raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, water, and environmental swabs.
•  Conduct microbiological analyses including antimicrobial activity testing, Total Plate Count (TPC), Yeast & Mold, Coliforms, E. coli, and other laboratory testing.
•  Prepare culture media, reagents, laboratory solutions, and maintain microbiological cultures according to SOPs.
•  Record, analyse, and document laboratory results accurately while maintaining complete laboratory records.
•  Support laboratory equipment maintenance, calibration, environmental monitoring, and laboratory safety practices.
•  Assist in R&D projects, laboratory purchasing, method validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
•  Work closely with our scientists to develop innovative technologies that preserve beneficial bacteria while combating harmful microorganisms.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements

•  Minimum SPM, Diploma or Degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, Life Sciences, or related disciplines.
•  Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
•  Basic knowledge of microbiological laboratory techniques and aseptic practices.
•  Familiarity with GMP, GLP, or ISO laboratory standards is an added advantage.
•  Strong attention to detail with good documentation and record-keeping skills.
•  Able to work independently while maintaining high laboratory standards.
•  Good command of written and spoken English.
•  Able to communicate in both Mandarin and English, as this role works closely with Mandarin-speaking colleagues and suppliers.
