Job Description

Job Summary:

To support the General Manager in managing IT operations, governance, strategic planning, and the effective execution of IT tasks and projects. The role is responsible for overseeing daily IT service delivery, ensuring smooth communication between internal stakeholders and external vendors, and driving key initiatives to meet business operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support IT Governance, Planning & Execution
    Assist the GM in IT operations, governance, and the planning and execution of strategic and operational IT initiatives across the organization.
  2. Lead Application Service
    Oversee and coordinate IT application service requests in collaboration with system managers and ensure timely and effective resolution.
  3. Assist GM in assigned department management (administration, service, operations)
  4. Assist GM in IT setup for company (strategy, planning, budget, audit)
  5. Assign team management (service, infrastructure or system, IT project and IT security)
  6. Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution
    Lead the troubleshooting of critical system issues and coordinate with support teams to ensure prompt and sustainable resolutions.
  7. Stakeholder Communication & Vendor Liaison
    Act as a key liaison between IT, internal business users, and external vendors to ensure clear communication and alignment on requirements, solutions, and service levels.
  8. Project Leadership & Delivery
    Lead and manage assigned IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget, while aligning with business objectives.
  9. Business Engagement & Representation
    Represent the IT department in cross-functional meetings and discussions, ensuring IT needs are well understood, addressed, and aligned with business operations.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  2. Professional certifications in ITIL, PMP, or COBIT are an added advantage.
  3. Minimum 10 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or senior leadership role.
  4. Proven experience in managing IT service delivery, infrastructure, and business systems in a dynamic environment.
  5. Strong leadership and coordination skills.
  6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  7. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  8. Knowledge of IT operations, support models, and project delivery methodologies.
