Conduct thorough cost-benefit analyses to assess the economic feasibility of using different materials and select options that provide the greatest cost savings. Ensure that Raw Material Specifications (RMS) are prepared for any new raw material, RMS are updated for any approved new source of an existing raw material and that all RMS are current and any changes or additions are distributed to all concerned parties.</li><li>Proactively initiate and follow up all R&amp;D activities upon stakeholder request.</li><li>Ensure that Bills of Material are updated for any change to raw materials or formulations relating to manufactured products.</li><li>Provide support on Quality Control function, train QC technicians on test method/ application.</li><li>Provide relevant technical support to Sales / Technical Service, Procurement and Production / Operation Department.</li><li>Maintain good housekeeping and 5S practices in the laboratory.</li><li>Manage all R&amp;D and lab equipment and ensure all items are well maintained, utilized in proper manner.</li><li>Monitor and update project progress and relevant report to immediate superior and propose suitable alternative for continuous improvement.</li><li>Attention on ISO Documentations (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001) and up to date all the time.</li></ul></div> <h2 class="cmp-job-posting-details__title cmp-job-posting-details__title--primary cmp-layout--center">Your expertise - Our strength</h2> <div class="cmp-job-posting-details__qualifications"><ul><li>Min. Diploma holder in Chemistry, Engineering (Chemical) or equivalent.</li><li>Minimum 2 years exposure and hands-on experience relevant on laboratory.</li><li>Preferably Executives specializing in Chemistry or equivalent.</li><li>Previous experience in adhesives/building materials laboratory</li><li>Laboratory testing skill.
