About the Role

We are seeking Cloud Engineers to join our growing Cloud Engineering team based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. As part of a dynamic and collaborative environment, you will contribute to building, deploying, and supporting cloud-based banking software for leading financial institutions across Asia. The role offers exposure to a range of functions including platform automation, pre-sales support, and managed services operations.

Key Responsibilities

1) Core Platform Engineering

• Contribute to the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
• Support the development and maintenance of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform or similar tools.
• Assist in packaging and releasing software artifacts (e.g., Docker images, configuration files, DB scripts).
• Help build and maintain internal developer platforms and self-service tools.

2) Cloud Solutioning

• Support cloud architecture assessments and prepare documentation (BOMs, diagrams, etc.) for client proposals.
• Assist in provisioning demo and POC environments for prospective clients.
• Collaborate with solution architects and senior engineers to automate environment setup.

3) Application & Infrastructure Support

• Provide L2 support for managed service clients
• Monitor system health and support SLAs by addressing infrastructure and application-level issues.
• Participate in project delivery and training sessions for clients.
• Gain exposure to specialized areas such as database management and Apache NiFi.

Job Requirements

 Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, infrastructure support, or related roles.
• Basic experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP, or Huawei Cloud).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker), scripting (Bash/Python), and version control (Git).
• Strong interest in automation, CI/CD, and modern DevOps practices.
• Willingness to learn and contribute across multiple functional areas.
• Good problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Understanding of cloud security principles.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Foundation level Certification with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP, or Huawei Cloud).
• Basic understanding of software release processes and cloud billing models.
