Our Culture

Finance Executive plays a critical operational role in supporting the day-to-day financial activities of Singer (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and its subsidiary, Berjaya Credit Sdn Bhd. This includes accurate processing of financial transactions, account reconciliations, financial reporting, tax submissions, and other compliance-related tasks. The role requires a responsible, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and consistently upholds professionalism and integrity in their work.

<ins>Key Responsibilities:-</ins>
Accounting &amp; Reporting
<ul>
<li>Prepare accurate journal entries, vouchers, and supporting schedules.</li>
<li>Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, management reports, and statutory reports.</li>
<li>Maintain proper documentation and ensure completeness of financial records in line with audit and control requirements.</li>
</ul>
Reconciliation &amp; Closing
<ul>
<li>Perform bank reconciliations, account analysis, and resolve discrepancies on a timely basis.</li>
<li>Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including fixed asset updates and accruals.</li>
<li>Support intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations.</li>
</ul>
Tax &amp; Compliance
<ul>
<li>Prepare and submit SST, withholding tax, and other statutory filings.</li>
<li>Assist in ensuring compliance with local tax laws, accounting standards (MFRS), and company policies.</li>
<li>Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and relevant regulatory bodies as needed.</li>
</ul>
Operational Support
<ul>
<li>Support treasury tasks such as payment processing, bank liaison, and cash flow tracking.</li>
<li>Collaborate with internal departments (e.g. sales, operations, credit) to ensure accuracy and alignment of financial data.</li>
<li>Participate in continuous improvement of finance processes and internal controls.&nbsp;</li>
