Job Description
We’re looking for a Junior Technician who is eager to learn, hands-on, and ready to support daily refurbishment operations.
- Perform basic diagnostics on laptops and desktops (hardware & software).
- Clean, inspect, and prepare devices for refurbishment.
- Replace common components such as RAM, SSD/HDD, batteries, keyboards, and screens (training provided).
- Install operating systems, drivers, and essential software.
- Test device functionality (stress tests, battery health checks, keyboard tests, etc.).
- Label, update records, and ensure accurate documentation of refurbished units.
- Assist with inventory management and organisation of parts and tools.
- Report issues or faulty components to senior technicians.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
Job Requirements
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and troubleshooting.
- Willingness to learn and follow established refurbishment processes.
- Ability to work with tools such as screwdrivers, spudgers, and ESD equipment.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow checklists.
- Basic knowledge of Windows installation is a plus.
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team.
