ROLE SUMMARY
The Fundraising Manager designs and implements strategies to meet fundraising goals, building relationships with donors and overseeing events and campaigns. This role includes managing donor communications, writing grant proposals, and aligning fundraising efforts with the organization's mission. The manager also tracks progress, manages budgets, and leads the fundraising team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role you will:

<li>Design and execute a comprehensive fundraising plan to achieve annual targets.</li>
<li>Identify and cultivate potential donors, including individuals, corporations, foundations, and government entities.</li>
<li>Utilize diverse fundraising methods such as events, campaigns, grant writing, and online fundraising.</li>
<li>Advise and consult with programmatic teams on the development of their programs to ensure it is in alignment with the overall organisation mission.</li>
<li>Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective donors.</li>
<li>Ensure timely and effective communication with donors, providing updates and expressing gratitude.</li>
<li>Develop and implement donor recognition programs to retain and upgrade donor support.</li>
<li>Ensure donors are aware and aligned towards the programmatic goals and the overarching organisation mission.</li>
<li>Plan, organize, and oversee fundraising events and campaigns.</li>
<li>Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful execution.</li>
<li>Evaluate the effectiveness of events and campaigns, making adjustments for improvement.</li>
<li>Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with the organisation’s mission.</li>
<li>Prepare and submit compelling grant proposals and reports.</li>
<li>Maintain a calendar of grant deadlines and ensure timely submissions.</li>
<li>Track and report on fundraising progress against targets.</li>
<li>Manage the fundraising budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.</li>
<li>Prepare detailed reports for the executive team and board of directors.</li>
<li>Lead and mentor the fundraising team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.</li>
<li>Provide training and support to staff and volunteers involved in fundraising activities.</li>
<li>Stay updated with fundraising trends and best practices, implementing innovative strategies.</li>
<li>Other tasks requested from your supervisor.</li>
<li>Other relevant duties assigned by your reporting manager / The Management from time to time.</li>
