Job Description
You will be designing, developing, and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central applications. Delivers full lifecycle application development, customizations and enhancements, provides pre- and post-go-live end-user support, and serves as the lead technical expert on implementation teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyzing and estimating client modification requests
- Writing code to extend all functional areas of Business Central
- Testing functionality developed by the implementation team against business requirements
- Delivering modifications to clients
- Providing pre-go-live and post-go-live end-user support
- Serving as the lead technical expert on the implementation team
- Developing modifications and creating outputs as defined by standard system design lifecycles
- Assisting sales with modification estimates and presales demos in pursuit of new business
- Full lifecycle application development; tailoring software solutions, customizations and enhancements for customers
- Investigating, analyzing and replicating issues and providing support to customers
- Testing and analyzing for operational functionality of solutions; delivery of finished products and implementation
- Performing tuning improvement on software
Job Requirements
Skills Required
- 5+ years of experience as a software developer working with Dynamics Business Central / NAV, at least 3 with the AL programming language
- Experience with Business Central 15 and above, specifically using events to perform modifications
- Hands-on experience with at least one of: Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Azure Development
- Experience extending common third-party add-on solutions
- Experience with automated testing
- Strong software development experience, ability to use development tools including Microsoft C/AL and .Net
- Strong database knowledge, in-depth understanding of MS SQL server and able to use transact – SQL
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 1-4 years of software development experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Navision (NAV) or related ERP solutions
