<div><img src="https://i.imgur.com/TkqCUuf.jpg?h=457&amp;la=en-US&amp;w=683&amp;hash=B7BA561A0964F3001F352F97A3D3C32B9D619F1B" width="1000"></div> JOB PURPOSE &nbsp;The Electrical Technician is responsible to coordinate and work with the team on the electrical maintenance in relation to the day-to-day operations aspects including ad hoc special projects for Taylor’s University to achieve profit targets and to optimise the service delivery standard for its stake holders and customers, prioritizing on maintenance, routine schedules and overall facilities support.&nbsp; &nbsp; KEY RESULT AREAS / RESPONSIBILITIES §&nbsp; To carry out the daily operations of the campus through good practices and effective control systems. §&nbsp; To respond to complaints &amp; break downs to ensure downtime is always minimized. §&nbsp; To complete and submit daily checklist and ensure facilities are functioning safely and properly. §&nbsp; To provide ideas, work well with team members to ensure optimal efficiency. §&nbsp; To assist benchmark facilities operating costs efficiency amongst Group facilities &amp; industry. §&nbsp; To provide monthly management updates current job concerns, challenges, and improvements §&nbsp; To implement preventive maintenance for the efficient upkeep of the campus grounds §&nbsp; To ensure all administration and procedures meet company standard operating procedures, contractual and ISO requirements. §&nbsp; To maximise the building value by implementing proper repair and maintenance works. §&nbsp; To minimise energy losses and to ensure safe efficient working of all electrical and mechanical equipment. §&nbsp; Conduct conditional appraisal of general maintenance related assets. §&nbsp; Provide any other facilities management support as required by the institutions within the group. §&nbsp; To support regular assessment &amp; audit to ensure all facilities / equipment are all well maintained and good working condition. §&nbsp; Assist in any other duties which may be assigned by the Vice President of Facilities Management Operations, ESH &amp; Security and Administration. &nbsp;&nbsp; KEY COMPETENCIES &nbsp;§&nbsp;&nbsp; Highly skilled in electrical maintenance work. §&nbsp;&nbsp; Strong analytical and trouble-shooting capabilities. §&nbsp;&nbsp; Possess knowledge in practical work process procedures. §&nbsp;&nbsp; Familiar with local building by-laws and structural requirements §&nbsp;&nbsp; Familiar with energy conservation directives §&nbsp;&nbsp; Knowledge in green building technology would be an added advantage. §&nbsp;&nbsp; Able to read and interpret engineering drawings would be an added advantage. §&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to plan and set priorities and deadlines. §&nbsp;&nbsp; Able to handle large volumes of work while maintaining accuracy and thoroughness. §&nbsp;&nbsp; Attitude to change, build and grow the department and organisation. §&nbsp;&nbsp; Knowledge in sustainable long-term initiatives such as solar, rainwater harvesting would be an added advantage. §&nbsp;&nbsp; Communicates professionally with empathy and understanding in daily operational matters and challenges. &nbsp;&nbsp; JOB SPECIFICATIONS Minimum Qualification §&nbsp;&nbsp; Diploma in Electrical Engineering certification or equivalent. §&nbsp;&nbsp; Related qualifications in Facilities Management and Energy Management will be an added advantage. &nbsp; Related Experience §&nbsp;&nbsp; Minimum 5 years of working experience in building general maintenance works. §&nbsp;&nbsp; Related experience in the services industry such as in hospitality, leisure, healthcare, education and/or banking. §&nbsp;&nbsp; Knowledge and experience in implementing Engineering Standards.
