The Demi Chef is responsible for supporting the kitchen team in food preparation and cooking tasks while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and hygiene. This role requires a proactive individual who can efficiently handle delegated duties, work collaboratively with other team members, and uphold the standards of the restaurant. <ins>Working Hours</ins>

<li>Shifts are typically from 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM.</li>
</ul>
<ins>Key Responsibilities</ins>
Food Preparation and Cooking
<ul>
<li>Assist the Sous Chef with food preparation, cooking, and plating according to recipes and specifications.</li>
<li>Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of presentation and taste.</li>
<li>Participate in creating innovative dishes and garnishes, with input on menu development when required.</li>
</ul>
Kitchen Operations
<ul>
<li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and storage areas in compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.</li>
<li>Assist with receiving, checking, and storing deliveries to ensure quality and freshness.</li>
<li>Monitor stock levels and communicate requirements to the Sous Chef.</li>
</ul>
Quality and Hygiene Standards
<ul>
<li>Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols, including proper handling, storage, and labeling of ingredients.</li>
<li>Report any equipment malfunction or maintenance issues to the Sous Chef.</li>
<li>Assist in minimizing waste and optimizing resource usage.</li>
</ul>
Team Collaboration
<ul>
<li>Work closely with the team to ensure smooth operations during service hours.</li>
<li>Provide support for special events, private hires, and other functions as required.</li>
<li>Assist in training and mentoring new kitchen team members when necessary.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
