Job Description

  • Manage and supervise site installation teams to ensure smooth execution of HVAC works.
  • Coordinate day-to-day site activities and resolve any technical or installation issues on-site.
  • Prepare quantity take-off, material request lists (MRL), and ensure timely material supply to support progress.
  • Plan and monitor project schedules to ensure completion within timeline and budget.
  • Control project cost and minimize wastage throughout the construction phase.
  • Liaise and coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, and other trades for project-related matters.
  • Review and interpret HVAC drawings, specifications, and design documents.
  • Prepare project reports, progress updates, and as-built documentation.
  • Ensure all work comply with company standards, safety requirements, and local regulations.
  • Support project testing, commissioning, and successful handover stages.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Responsibilities:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, HVAC, or related field.
  • Fresh graduates encouraged; training and guidance provided.
  • For experienced candidates: 1–3 years' experience in HVAC / ACMV / M&E installation or project coordination.
  • Manage and supervise site installation teams to ensure smooth execution of HVAC works.
  • Coordinate day-to-day site activities and resolve technical or installation issues on-site.
  • Prepare quantity take-offs and material request lists (MRL); ensure timely material supply.
  • Plan and monitor project schedules to meet timelines and budgets; control project cost and minimize wastage.
  • Liaise and coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, and other trades.
  • Review and interpret HVAC drawings, specifications, and design documents; prepare project reports, progress updates, and as-built documentation.
  • Support project testing, commissioning, and successful handover stages.
  • Possess a valid CIDB Green Card; familiarity with Malaysian construction standards and safety practices. BEM registration is an advantage.
  • Strong technical understanding of air-conditioning, ventilation, chilled water, and piping systems.
  • Able to read construction drawings and perform quantity/material take-offs.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office; experience with HVAC design or BIM software is an advantage.
  • Good communication, teamwork, problem-solving skills; able to work independently and coordinate site activities under minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
