Role Overview:

As a Senior Accounting Executive at Trust Maven, you will manage and review a portfolio of SME clients’ accounts. Your role involves ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of accounting records, utilizing cloud accounting software and our established SOPs. A candidate with strong business sense is preferred, someone who can understand clients' businesses, identify issues, provide insightful input, and proactively improve our clients' accounting efficiency.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently handle the preparation and review of full sets of accounts for SME clients.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations, general ledger reviews, and closing of accounts accurately and timely.
• Utilize cloud accounting software to maintain accurate and up-to-date client accounting records.
• Understand clients' business models and financial requirements to provide tailored accounting solutions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and proactively address potential accounting or compliance issues.
• Engage with clients professionally, providing insights and clear communication to support their financial understanding and decision-making.
• Work seamlessly and collaboratively with the audit and taxation teams to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, including corporate secretarial, to deliver seamless client services.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably handling full sets of SME accounts.
• Familiarity with cloud accounting solutions like Bukku, Xero, or QuickBooks is highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to explain financial information clearly to clients.
• Ability to adapt and follow established SOPs effectively.
• Demonstrated business sense and proactive approach to identifying areas for client financial improvement is preferred.
