About the Department

The Credit and Risk Management function is comprised of three teams: Risk Management, Credit and Special Asset Management. We manage the risks arising from the Group’s business activities within the risk appetite established by the Board. This involves identifying and evaluating the risks, developing effective risk governance and strategies as well as providing independent assessment of the overall risk profile.

Job Responsibilities

  • Approve credit / financing applications such as new facilities / incremental / annual review, temporary excess, offerings, etc. if within Credit Discretionary Limit (CDL).
  • Perform credit assessment and prepare credit evaluations for credit applications beyond CDL for decision-making by higher approving authorities.
  • Review and approve all the internal credit ratings of customers.
  • Work with Business Unit (BU) to identify, mitigate and manage credit risks including resolving complex credit issues with BU.
  • To ensure that credit decision is guided by the Bank’s Credit Policy, guidelines and practices.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 12 years in Commercial/Corporate Banking either as team leader with good credit fundamentals or mix with experience in Credit Evaluation and Business.
  • Solid analytical and technical capabilities, with a thorough understanding of plain vanilla and structured transactions.
  • Have agile mind set and Team-player with a can-do attitude.
