How we started - It all started when desktop computing was still in its infancy. We realized then, that desktop computing would revolutionize the world. In 1984, our Managing Director set-up Meritas Computers Sdn Bhd to deploy standard accounting software and develop accounting based solutions. The IUS software ( which later became Accpac Plus ) was our key back-end solution. At the same time, work began on the development of the EDI Customs K1238 Remote, the software that took the freight forwarding industry into the world of desktop computing. It automated the entire process of customs declaration, and eventually became the industry standard operating software, after being endorsed by the Association of Freight Forwarders.&nbsp;

If you are proficient in reading and writing Bahasa Malaysia and English, possess relevant experience, and have a strong grasp of Full Set account , Microsoft Office, and you are a detail-oriented individual, we encourage you to take this opportunity and send us your resume. <li>Handle full set of account;</li>
<li>Manage cash flow, payments and refunds;</li>
<li>Bank, Debtor and Creditor Reconciliations;</li>
<li>Prepare internal and external daily and monthly reports;</li>
<li>Ensure all companies’ documents are up-to-date and well maintained;</li>
<li>Facilitate audit, secretarial and tax processes and ensure compliance with internal control processes, and liaise effectively with external auditors, tax agents, government agencies, and consultants on related matters to ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and reporting in line with the Company’s policies and procedures;</li>
<li>Liaise closely with banks and ensure compliance with operational processes;</li>
<li>HR documentation;</li>
<li>Perform ad hoc tasks assigned by Management from time to time.</li>
