We are a growing plant-based gelato and bakery brand specializing in vegan, dairy-free, egg-free, and no-sugar-added products. As a Baker Intern, you will assist in daily bakery production and learn hands-on about vegan and functional food formulations in a small-scale commercial kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing bakery items.
• Support productions.
• Weigh, measure, and record ingredients accurately according to recipes.
• Operate and clean baking equipment safely (mixers, ovens, chillers).
• Ensure food quality, consistency, and hygiene standards are met.
• Help with packing, labelling, and stock rotation (FIFO).
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in line with Halal and food safety standards.
• Participate in new product trials and recipe development when required.

Job Requirements

Essential:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Baking, Pastry, Culinary Arts, or Food Science.
• Basic knowledge of baking and ingredient handling.
• Responsible, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Team player with good communication and hygiene practices.
• Interest in plant-based, vegan, or sugar-free baking.
   

Preferred:

• Some prior baking or F&B production experience.
• Familiarity with food safety practices (MesTi/Halal awareness).
• Creative mindset and enthusiasm for recipe development.
