At Xsolla Curine Academy, we're passionate about empowering the next generation of game developers, artists, designers, and storytellers. Born from a collaboration between Xsolla, a global video game commerce company, and Curine Ventures, a Malaysian tech incubator and creative powerhouse, the academy is where innovation meets mentorship.
Our Origin Story The idea for Xsolla Curine Academy came from a shared vision: to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world industry experience in the gaming and digital entertainment world. We saw that many talented young creatives were graduating with potential—but lacking the hands-on skills or exposure needed to thrive in a competitive global market. So we set out to change that.
We officially launched the academy to serve as a training ground and launchpad for young talents, especially those passionate about entering the gaming, tech, and creative industries. Since then, we’ve been offering intensive programs, mentorships, and project-based learning opportunities in areas like game development, UI/UX design, 2D/3D art, animation, business in games, and more.

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Lead to join our team.
The Accounts Lead will play a pivotal role in managing our financial records, ensuring accuracy, and providing critical insights to support our financial health and decision-making processes.
The Accounts Lead also must be able to do full set accounts and understand Malaysia's taxation law.

Responsibilities:

- Handle daily accounting tasks and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare and process full set of accounts including data entry, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank transactions.
- Perform regular reconciliation of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank statements, and intercompany balances to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain up-to-date records of financial transactions and assist in preparing month-end journals

2. Accounting:
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial reports, providing insights into the company's financial performance.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation of financial statements and schedules.
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes, providing analysis and recommendations to support financial planning.
- Assist in financial analysis, variance analysis, and other ad hoc projects as required.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.&nbsp;

3. General Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative support as needed, including filing, data entry, and other administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with other departments to support cross-functional initiatives and projects.
