What You Will Learn and Do (Key Responsibilities)
This role focuses on meticulous back-end support and deep process learning, ensuring accuracy across all departments:

Assurance

• Assist the team with tasks such as verification of transactions and preparation of documentation.
• Support the assurance team in statutory audit engagements, including preparing working papers and checking financial records.
• Learn to identify and flag discrepancies and risks, requiring a high degree of precision and critical thinking.

Corporate Secretarial:

• Support the preparation of statutory documents, filings, and board/member resolutions as required by the Companies Act 2016.
• Assist in maintaining and verifying statutory records and registers using our Officio software.

Accounting

• Gain practical experience in financial data entry, document control, and record keeping, utilizing cloud accounting software like Bukku.

Tax

• Assist with the preparation of tax compliance documents, including supporting paperwork for filings via software like iBizz.

Insolvency

• Assist in the preparation of documents required for application for Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVA) and related legal submissions.

Job Requirements

Requirements
Education: Currently pursuing a Degree in Accounting, Law (LLB), Finance, Corporate Administration, or Business-related fields.

Duration: Must be able to commit to a minimum of 3 consecutive months (longer periods are highly encouraged).

Essential Skills

Exceptional attention to detail.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.

Willingness and aptitude to quickly learn and adopt to new software.

Attitude: Proactive, highly disciplined, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

If you are not a citizen of Malaysia, you will be required to be pursuing a course of study which has an internship module as one of the prerequisite for graduation.
