Job Description

We are looking for a creative and results-oriented Marketing Specialist to join the Yolo's Group of Companies. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive organic growth of our social media accounts and increase brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media management:

• Develop and implement comprehensive social media marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement across various platforms.
• Create and curate engaging content, including posts, videos, and stories, that aligns with our brand identity and resonates with our target audience.
• Monitor social media trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Track and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of marketing campaigns and optimize future strategies.
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns, primarily lead generation, influencer collaborations, contests, and giveaways, to drive brand awareness.
• Provide advice and insights on online marketing best practices, including SEO, content marketing, and paid advertising.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with overall business goals.

E-mail campaign management: 

• Develop and execute effective email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, drive conversions, and retain customers.
• Create compelling email content, including subject lines, copy, and calls-to-action, that drives opens, clicks, and engagement.
• Design and implement automated email workflows to deliver personalized and timely messages to subscribers.
• Track and analyze email marketing metrics, such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions, to optimize campaign performance.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in social media marketing and digital marketing campaigns.
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin is optional but preferred

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook & Instagram. 
• Strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
• Knowledge in email marketing services such as Mailchimp is recommended.
• Excellent copywriting and content creation skills.
• A honed sense of design is a plus.
• Knowledge of website builders such as Elementor for Wordpress is not compulsory, but is a plus.
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and interpret marketing metrics.
• Creative problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
