The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you'll identify, engage, and close strategic partnerships across payments providers, forex brokers, liquidity providers, stablecoin issuers, Web3 protocols, exchanges, and enterprise clients. You'll own the full BD cycle—from prospecting to close—managing complex pipelines independently.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct market research across Web3, DeFi, forex, payments, and crypto ecosystems
  • Execute high-volume, personalized outreach campaigns (email, LinkedIn, Telegram, Twitter/X)
  • Create polished pitch decks, one-pagers, and proposals using Google Slides and other AI tools 
  • Manage dozens of leads simultaneously with meticulous attention to detail
  • Maintain pipeline records in CRM tools or Google Sheets, tracking KPIs and conversion metrics
  • Represent GBCI at regional and global Web3/fintech events

Job Requirements

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves:

  • Exceptional English communication (written and verbal)
  • Quick learner—prior Web3/crypto experience not required, but willingness to dive deep is essential
  • High agency & self-starter—you take initiative and make things happen
  • Meticulous and organized—you manage multiple leads without dropping the ball
  • BD, sales, or marketing experience with strong positioning and messaging skills

Strong Advantages:

  • Multilingual—Mandarin, or other Asian languages
  • Experience managing high-volume pipelines
  • Startup or venture-building background

Compensation

Base Salary: MYR 6,000/month
