Job Description

Purchasing & Procurement

  • Source, request, and compare quotations from suppliers based on project and operational requirements. 
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and purchasing terms with suppliers when necessary. 
  • Issue purchase orders and follow up on order status, delivery schedules, and material arrivals. 
  • Coordinate with design, project, site, and finance teams to ensure timely procurement of materials. 
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records, including purchase orders, invoices, receipts, and supplier documentation. 
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and vendors. 
  • Monitor material costs and support cost-saving initiatives.

Inventory & Warehouse Management

  • Receive, inspect, issue, and record incoming and outgoing materials accurately. 
  • Organize, label, and maintain warehouse inventory systematically for easy retrieval. 
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure sufficient inventory is maintained for project requirements. 
  • Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy. 
  • Prepare and update inventory reports and stock movement records. 
  • Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damages, or shortages.

Documentation & Coordination

  • Maintain proper documentation for procurement and inventory transactions. 
  • Ensure all purchasing and stock records are updated accurately and on time. 
  • Coordinate with internal departments regarding material requests and inventory availability. 
  • Assist management in generating procurement and inventory reports. 


Warehouse Maintenance & Compliance

  • Ensure warehouse cleanliness, safety, and proper storage practices. 
  • Follow company procedures for inventory control and asset management. 
  • Support continuous improvement of procurement and inventory processes.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Minimum SPM, Diploma, or equivalent qualification. 
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. 
  • Candidates with experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory control, warehouse operations, or storekeeping will have an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Basic knowledge of purchasing and inventory management processes. 
  • Good negotiation and supplier coordination skills. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. 
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities. 
  • Good numerical and analytical skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
